Contact Lenses

Contact lenses are tiny, clear, custom-made lenses that are placed on the surface of the eye, under the eyelid. Once in place, they are comfortable and virtually invisible. Contacts are a non-invasive alternative to LASIK and PRK, and they are more discrete than eyeglasses. Although contact lenses are most often associated with treating nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatisim (refractive problems), depending on a patient's unique needs, contacts can also be used to treat keratoconus and other sever eye conditions.
